It’s not just the movies expanding their universes anymore! That’s right, I’m expanding my Ballerina Universe to include another one of my favorite DC female heroes, Black Canary! I’ve always thought that Dinah Lance was one of the most bad ass characters DC had to offer. She might not be as strong as a God or an Amazonian, but she sure can pack a punch, both with her vocals and her fist. She’s one of the few characters who’ve taken down Superman in close combat and even has a rock band! She’s too cool. Which is why I wanted to draw a new piece inspired by her.

As with my last runs, for a LIMITED time I will be offering a metallic printing of this piece. You’re guaranteed to get one if you pre-order. After that, a final quantity will be decided. Once they’re gone, they’ll be gone. Also, during the pre-order I’m offering $5 off all my other ballerina pieces, in any size, so you can build up your dance army! Just use the following code during check out and save on each ballerina.

For years I’ve worked with my good friend Scott Ferguson, of Nerf This, on various different projects, including working on his websites and store. He even did a lot of the artwork for the game I worked on called Destined Legends (also available at Corvink). That being said, it only made sense for us to have both of our stuff available at the same place. In addition to carrying his shirts and book, we’ve also set up a “Kill EVERYTHING” shirt combo, which is one of his designs and one of mine. Anyway, don’t forget to check out all of his merch.

Being HUGE Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans, we wanted to do a little something for her 20th anniversary. So, for a LIMITED time, we will be offering 2 different Buffy inspired pins! “Slay” with Sarah Michelle Gellar holding Buffy’s stake “Mr. Pointy” and her iconic scythe Mʔ. You can also save $2 if you buy them together until Friday! We only made 100 of each, so get them while they last!

Back in April we released our first official Corvink enamel pins, the Corvink logo pin and our limited edition “Born to Die” Lana Del Rey inspired pins. You guys liked that first set of pins so much that we decided to make 2 more! It’s time to level up your Corvink pin collection with these two new pins: the Raven Stitch logo pin and Cute AF enamel pin.

Instead of recapping Emerald City Comicon 2017, I thought I’d just share my experience via vlog! Check it out on the Denis Caron YouTube Channel, or just watch it above. Though, if you hop on over the YouTube you can see various other convention videos as well as art speed drawings and other things.

IT’S TIME TO GRADUATE!

Students nation wide will soon be completing their academic studies from they’re prestigious universities. They’ve worked hard to learn a thing or two about a thing or two and will be receiving a fancy piece of paper to commemorate just that. While that’s an admirable path to take, we here at Corvink believe there is an easier way! You can graduate today, from the most prestigious of schools (Classhole University), just by purchasing your diplomas and alumni shirts! AND to celebrate this occation, we’re offering 25% off your Classhole purchases until June 30th by using code: GRAD25

I’m super excited to announce the launch of the first official Corvink Enamel Pins: the iconic raven skull Corvink logo and a limited edition Lana Del Rey “Born to Die” pin! We’ve only made 100 of the Lana Del Rey pins, so if you like it, definitely grab one fast!

We already have the pins in hand, and they came out fantastic. I’m particularly proud Lana pin. The 8 colors are very vibrant and level of detail we were able to achieve is super impressive. However, we are still awaiting the backing cards and bags to come in. They should arrive late this week/early next, and will be packaged immediately after. Once they’re packaged, they will be shipped to you. I estimate that we’ll have them out to you by mid to end of next week. I was just too excited to wait for everything to come in to show you how they look, so the pre-order is live today!

It’s crazy. It dawned on me while I was at Emerald City Comicon that it’s been something like 5 years or so since I released a shirt with a new concept on it. My last design, SWAG, was released in March of 2013! That’s been far too long for me to go without releasing something new. That being said, I’ve decided to rectify this silly little sin by coming up with something brand spanking new. Based on one of our most popular products, Classhole BS Diplomas, I give you the Classhole University Alumni T-Shirts!

PRE-ORDER OPEN UNTIL WEDNESDAY, MARCH 22.

Just like the last pre-order, I’ve also decided to release a limited edition, brown version of this shirt. The shown here is a “poly blend” heather dark gray, which will always be available. The pre-order exclusive version of the shirt will be a “chocolate” dark brown. After next week, the brown version will no long be available online. So if you like that one, this week is your only chance to grab one!

Two shirts, one charcoal gray and one chocolate brown with the Classhole University white raven alumni logo on them.

That’s right, we’re returning to Emerald City Comicon this year, and will we have new items that never been displayed at on of our conventions yet! Heres a list of all the new items we’re gonna have. Don’t forget to come to Booth 309 first to get your exclusives while they last. Hope to see ya there!

Various Inkling Prints

Denis Caron’s Unconscious Ink (Inklings) Series has constantly been expanding. So much so it’s hard to post updates about every single new print. We will have fan art like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Marceline the Vampire Queen, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Sam (from Trick ‘r Treat), and Pyramid Head. In addition to those, we will have a full stock of original concepts by him as well such as sky beans, the cookie beast, a dapper bull dog, a two headed gothic cat, a koalopster, a possessed crow, a dapper pangolin, an pterodactyl anteater, a collection of dead hearts, and his original characters Valdis, Cadence and Autumn (from L.A.W.L.S. Comics).

Denis Caron’s Collaboration with Destined Legends

Some of you may not know this, but when I first started Corvink I was also working with my good friends Ali and Shawn Showkati at Decobot to create a game called Destined Legends. I spent hours upon hours helping to make this thing become a reality. My hands have literally been directly involved in every part of the its development: from game mechanics, play testing, creative direction, etc. Though I didn’t get much of a chance to draw for it (outside a few pieces), I’m immensely proud of what we’ve created. The game plays fantastic and is beautifully designed (all thanks to Ali’s amazing artistic eye). Anyway, I’ve worked out a deal with Decobot to carry the game at the Corvink store! What’s even better is that I got a chance to create an exclusive metallic linen print (limited to 15 copies), of my favorite character in the game, Vega. Which will only be available at Corvink!

If you want to try the game out for yourself, you can also grab this limited print with the entire game, and accessories (play board, sideboards, etc) for a discounted price below. There are a few different options in the drop down, so make sure to check them all out.

That’s right, we’ve got both shirts in stock and ready to ship out. Thanks to all the pre-orders in December, these shirts came out really amazing. In addition to these being our first water based printed t-shirts, this new release also has printed size labels and official Corvink labels sewn into the bottom seam of every shirt.
